Home is a song I wrote for my husband of 7 years, David. I believe I wrote it just before our 5th anniversary. It goes along with the saying, "Home is where the heart is." My home is with David no matter where we are. He has been my lover, best friend, teacher, and companion. It is often said that, "the family who prays together stays together," but I think it should be, "the family who grows together stays together." David and I have done a lot of growing together. We've had some rough patches in our relationship, but the struggles have only made us stronger. We have lifted each other up, and learned from each other through the hard times. I believe that's what true love is- caring about the other person enough to hear them out, work things out, and grow.
